Budget and Guest List
Because you have so many options to choose from, setting a budget is an important first step in planning your elope. Hand-in-hand with your budget, your possible guest list will help determine the best options for locations, flowers, possible accommodations, post-wedding celebrations and much more.
Location
We have photographed weddings in almost every setting imaginable on St. Croix:
- Beautiful sunny beaches – depending on where you are on the island, the beach can be sandy with calm turquoise water or rocky with dramatic crashing waves, as well as everything in between
- Palm tree grotto
- Poolside at a beautiful hotel or resort
- The lush tropical rain forest of St. Georges Botanical Gardens
- One of several Sugar Mill ruins on the island

Wedding Day Clothing
There is no right answer for what to wear for your elope wedding. Our couples range from very casual, beach-style clothing to traditional wedding dresses and suits. We do recommend a thoughtful choice that ensures the bride and groom’s clothing is complimentary and represents their personalities.
Flowers and Decorations
Decorations can be kept to a minimum since our beautiful settings are enough backdrop for any wedding day celebration. We have several talented floral designers who can provide you with anything from a simple bouquet to an elaborate floral arch. If your guest list includes more than just you two, chairs are available for rent.
Refreshments
Want a champagne toast or small cake to cut immediately following your ceremony? That can be arranged.
Officiant
An elope ceremony tends to be short and sweet. There are several officiants to choose from who can help guide your ceremony. Writing special vows to exchange with one another is not only possible, it is encouraged.
